Meet Pretzel
When C.A.R.E. heard about Pretzel, a 6-month-old puppy in desperate need, we had to act. Pretzel was a fighter, and C.A.R.E. refused to let her fight alone. After a life-saving amputation, our dedicated team helped Pretzel trust again.
For C.A.R.E., the question was never about cost—it was about our commitment to every animal that comes through our doors, and that commitment saved Pretzel’s life. Today, this once-frightened, emaciated dog is thriving in her forever home as a playful, affectionate companion.
Before: Pretzel, when she arrived at C.A.R.E., was emaciated, covered in scars, with a broken leg, and enduring unbearable pain. 
After: Pretzel with her new mom, who adores her. She has a golden retriever brother and a number of doggy cousins, including a puppy her own age.Meet Grant
Abandoned at an emergency clinic, this senior cat had unmistakably been neglected for a prolonged period of time. Despite his age and condition, C.A.R.E. stepped in to give Grant a second chance, providing the medical care he desperately needed.
Grant has slowly emerged from his shell, learning for perhaps the first time in his life that the world could be kind and that human touch meant comfort, not pain.
Today, Grant looking for his forever home and a peaceful life he always deserved — but his transformation was only possible because C.A.R.E. had the resources to say yes when he needed help most.
Before: Grant was malnourished, with a large sore, dental disease, and a painful eye condition
