Pet Food Drive
The Jellicle Cats Are Dancing… Now It’s Your Turn to Help! 🐱
C.A.R.E. is partnering with Music Theater Works during CATS!
Starting March 1st, donations may be dropped off outside the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie box office throughout the production. Support local animals in need by donating items from C.A.R.E.™’s curated wishlist—prescription cat food, kitty litter, toys, and more.
At select performances, C.A.R.E.™ will host a lobby table featuring adoptable cats, cat-themed giveaways, and a prize wheel that brings the spirit of the Jellicle Ball to life—while helping real cats find loving homes. Stop by our table on March 6th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

Tourney for Tails Meow Madness and the Final Fur Bracket Fundraiser
Are you ready for Meow Madness and the Final Fur? Join us in another fun sports related fundraiser this year. We will be running a men’s and women’s Meow Madness bracket pool to raise funds for C.A.R.E. and all are welcome to participate. It will be $25 a bracket up to a max of 10 brackets that you can submit. Feel free to choose the men's, women's, or both!
Step 1: Fill out the form to submit your donation—$25 per bracket, up to 10 brackets per person and we are doing both men's and women's bracket challenges this year. Choose which bracket challenge you want to participate in on the form.
Step 2: After submitting the form, you’ll receive an email with an invite link to join the C.A.R.E. Tourney for Tails bracket pool (men's, women's or both) on CBSSports.com.
Step 3: Sign up on CBSSports.com and complete your bracket. NOTE: Teams are announced on Sunday, March 15th, around 6:00 PM. You have until midday Thursday, March 19th to submit your brackets. You can sign up early this week to be notified when the brackets go live.
Step 4: Sit back, watch the games, and track your bracket using a printed sheet, website, or mobile app.
Scoring System
Points per correct pick:
First Round: 1 point
Second Round: 2 points
Sweet 16: 4 points
Elite 8: 8 points
Final Four: 16 points
Championship Game: 32 points
Gift cards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on total points. Winners will be announced after the men's championship game on Monday, April 6th.

Our 30th Annual Strut for Strays is a hybrid event, with a kickoff and in-person walk at McGrath Evanston Subaru, or do your own walk at a time/place of your choosing!
Those who would like to Strut with other C.A.R.E.™ supporters can join us at McGrath Evanston Subaru on the morning of September 13th. We’ll walk 2.5 miles on the Northshore Sculpture Path.
For those who are remote or don’t want to gather, you can do your own virtual walk between September 13th & 20th. Pick up your swag at the September 13th event, or one of our other pickup events, or choose to have your swag shipped to you.
