Saturday, September 13 - Saturday, September 20 2025

Our 30th Annual Strut for Strays is a hybrid event, with a kickoff and in-person walk at McGrath Evanston Subaru, or do your own walk at a time/place of your choosing!

Those who would like to Strut with other C.A.R.E.™ supporters can join us at McGrath Evanston Subaru on the morning of September 13th. We’ll walk 2.5 miles on the Northshore Sculpture Path.

For those who are remote or don’t want to gather, you can do your own virtual walk between September 13 - September 20. Pick up your swag at the September 13th event, or one of our other pickup events, or choose to have your swag shipped to you.

Strut for a Reason: Fundraise for Rescue Pets.

Help us meet our goal of raising $44,000 for homeless pets!

In 2024, C.A.R.E. helped re-home 391 pets at a total cost of more than $100,000 (it costs at least $300 to prepare just one pet for adoption).

Additionally, C.A.R.E.'s Pet Food Pantry has grown exponentially during the economic downturn to help pet owners in need keep their pets at home.
